Casa De Angelina

When you end up with the right fashion invitation delivered to your attention, the magic begins.

I met Angelina for the first time at her S/S16 launch and I was absolutely blown away with her presence, her showcase and her attention to detail. Her style and vibrancy is everything I was looking for within the Boston style scene....bold and beautiful. Angelina gave me both class and a flavorful variety of color. I could easily see myself in most of her collection whether it be represented in the city nightlife or at a chic event. I love when I get inspired for different ways to work my own closet and find similar structures and style's to wear out. Her fashion show made a light bulb go off in my head and when that happens I feel as though the designer has succeeded with executing their vision. So that was the easy part for Angelina....what was next truly blew my mind.
There was a full plan and theme mapped out for this collection, from the beginning to the very end. The invitations, the design's, the color story and the energy behind it....so much detail and perfectly designed to speak a story of passion, energy and a brand new pulse in the city.....Casa de Angelina has arrived!!!
I caught up with Angelina after the show to just really catch up with her and find out more about her inspirations, and her concept behind the fashion show in her lovely home and she completely had me fully engaged....she's humble, smart and creative. She's actually a fashionista! Her genius idea to create an intimate fashion show for only a select few, in order to pull you into her array of chakras and coordinating color's and ultimately have you feel the very energy that went into her actual design's. She's the coolest for that. It all made sense and she painted a very clear and precise painting that came to life in every model that gracefully walked the runway to a low key and smooth soundtrack. I applaud Casa De Angelina for pulling off such an exquisite showcase full of fashion, glamour, elegance and serenity.
I am now a huge fan and I know other's will be too....this fashion show put a smile on my face and I didn't want to leave at the end of the night. Such a beautiful scene with a magical feeling in the air and so many wonderful people to connect with over the same subject of fashion, design and style. I honestly can't wait until her next fashion showcase because her work is so fashion forward and she isn't afraid of being bold and edgy. From mini dresses to long gowns, Angelina has it all for any occasion. Get ready Boston....she's here to stay and ready to become a household name.

Sunglasses and Bathing Suits....crazy about 'em

My shopping fix and needs are always met by stepping into H&M, Marshall's, TJMaxx, Forever 21 and Zara. These stores light my fire.....whoooooo! Shopping can be so amaxing if you LOVE it like me I honestly know my stuff from TV, magazines, sales associate, and just having this natural nitch for creating great outfits based on pieces. So from when I was younger I became obsessed with cool shadesx and a bright bathing suit. I have too many of each to even try to add more....but yet I do lol. Shopoholic for sure but I always feel great about myself and I stay true to who I am....a shopper.....and maybe a bit of a hoarder of things??? Take a Look at the cool finds and beautiful colors for my Southbeach trip that is quickly approaching.

My new obsession......

I am absolutely obsessed with consignment shops. Boston actually has some great ones to offer with some major treasures within them. Not only am I into the buying part.....I love the selling and bidding part. My closet has amazing pieces in it but unfortunately I can no longer fit some items I once loved or I just ready to part with things. I love cleansing my closet.....it literally makes me feel light as a feather and refreshed. Also a great stress reliever! Belive it or not but I have thousands of articles of clothing and I still shop weekly....on a budget. Bargains are my aim and I always leave a store happy! Check out some of my latest pieces I will be dropping off this week for both cash and store credit. Rescue Newbury St. Has designer labels at more than half the price and my favorite items are vintage. I will also be checking out the Buffalo Exchange, The Closet and Second Time Around (STA). Do yourself a favor and shop thrift stores for a unique shopping experience and an open door to making extra $$$$$$!

Acessories 2012

Just when I thought I had enough of anything I realized that "too much is never enough" of anything really. I buy things that I really love and that show my personality off. I am the happiest that I have been in a long time with this season's jewelery, handbags, shoes, makeup, hair trends and overall color scheme of things. What a fabulous time to be a woman and embrace our personal style. These are some of the latest items I've picked up for vacations, and hanging around the city of Boston.....my home for only a few months longer. NYC here I come and I couldn't be happier and scared at the same damn time lol. My fashion sense will elevate to another level and my life's journey will begin all over again.

Fall Fragrances..."scent of a woman"

I am wanting the new Burberry Fragrance, "Body" and I really like Paco Rabone, "Lady Million". Both of these can be found in Sephora and are perfect for day to night. They leave a very nice trail of spices and very clean/fresh but deep and woodsy.  A classic all-time fave of mine is "Chance" by Chanel and Gucci, "Guilty". What are some of your favorites this season?

S>H>O>E>S!!!!!!!

How could you not LOVE: Brian Atwood, Jimmy Choo, Louboutins, Vera Wang, LV, MUI MUI, Dani Black, Prada, Gucci, SEVEN, etc.

*Who knew that J.C. Penny could actually be styllish...they have made a comeback as far as department store status. I shopped there as a teen and now I'd go as a young adult for boots like these!
These just scream, "GRRRRRRRR", so tribal and funky! Feather detail all over the place, xoxox
Purple is like the new black...just do it for a bit of spice!
I need these $995 Louboutins shoes in my life...sexy, spiked heel and a MAJOR hard tipped toe. Blue and Gold are so regal together....just beautiful <3
Do you own Pink Pumps yet? The best month is now to score a pair as it is Breast Cancer Awarness Month...so perffffect excuse to Rock the hell out of some pink right? Pink just yells out femine, sexy and soft but fearless!
Just the Basics! These are a staple piece in any woman's wardrobe. They are on my wishlist, Red Bottom=Louboutin baby!!!!
These just say, "Who runs the world...girls" lol. Ummmm let's see, Black, Leather, Embossed Croc detail, Peep Toe, 6 inches, Tassles, and Zippers! What more could a girl dream of for a bootie?
I call these...FUNKY and FUTURISTIC!
The bootie in the middle is by MUI MUI and the colors are on point...major color blocking going on right here.Just Pretty!

These look dangerous but comfortable...a wedge is perfect for some City walking. I call these Bad Ass <3
I saw these in Soho, NYC....I wanted them but left them behind to buy a patent leather black messenger tote instead :) The chain laces are so sick on these though....I may need to go back ASAP

*The two below are Jessica Simpson! My girl Andrea G. bought a pair for like $75 from Macy's. I love these so much and they were comfy for being so high. The Mary-Jane strap is a nice detail for your foot when worn. Patent leather details as well as some snake print on the toe. SEXY

These were from the Summer but the brand is Dani Black and can be found for a good price at your local Marshall's...Teal can be taken from summer to Fall but leave home for winter especially if they are suede. I settled on Baker's for some Teal, Peep Toe Slingback Stilletto's this year and they were only $40.
Just Cute and sky high! Just how I like them.

SWEET FEET! Always a sucker for pink and patent leather black :)

Fashion Headliner's...Accessories

Black and Gold jewelry is so cool! I think this should always be handy to pull out when you need it and never out of style...goes with everything when silver just won't do. These pieces all have a bit of edge and personality to them. I could wear any of these and not even think twice about it. Great places to get this stuff cheap is Aldo, H&M, Arden B. and F21
Cuffs are everywhere this season in a huge trendy way! Call it a "Style Alert" if you must! :) This one shon is cool because of the way it locks. Statement piece.
The makeup is gorgeous and the necklace is BOLD. Go big and bold this season and try changing the way you wear your accessories. People love necklaces but are afraid to wear them...the bigger you go the less you do onyour ears. Keep it clean and simple but please DO make a scene!
The round look is back...not every pair is for every face but I am a fan of these Giorgio Armani's. Classic and black, just timeless really!
These are LV...aka Louis Vuitton! These have been spotted on Nicki Minaj and Angelina Jolie who actually is a face of LV for the past few years. I would love a pair of these as they hit my style right on the money! <3
Instead of staying with safe colors like black and camel mix things up by having color on a bag, clutch, wallet or belt. Color blocking can be easy when it's done for you. This bag is very Hobo meets Neo Soul.
Tell me these shades aren't dope? Elton John and Cee-Lo aren't the only ones who can pull this look off! They go for about $300 but that's the average pricepoint for any designer shades these days...and that's cheap on the market lol. Why are sunglasses not so popular anymore? It was a trend 3 years ago and faded out but Celebs still rock them 24/7!
I am obsessed with snakes and snake print! This bracelet can also be a cuff worn low or higher up on the arm. Fancy in the gold...silver just wouldn't do it justice!

This necklace is diamonds and by Harry Winston....featured in every fashion mag this season as a HOT item. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" so my eyeswere naturally drawn to the style and collar details. This piece is sexy and unique.

*I would really like a Jimmy Choo snake skin laptop bag...$1100 and multi-functional! Looking for a cheaper version in the meantime.

Stella & Dot Gold Spiked Ring...awesome! Also has a matching bracelet, earrings, and necklace that are available from this collection! http://www.stellaanddot.com/
I am modeling some of the pieces from Stella & Dot at my house party/trunk show 10/22/11. Fun times and the line is amazing. The cuff is ridiculously beautiful and the necklace felt so nice on...a real conversation piece. The earrings match the cuff if you like sets and very affordable :)
*My outfit: Celebrity Pink Jeans $19.99, White Baggy Cami, $9.99 H&M, Navy Cotton Blazer, F21 $15-, Camel patent pointy pumps, Nine West $30
